  • Maryanne


    Maryanne is the clinical director of Wings. She is an experienced accredited psychological therapist and health professional. She worked within the NHS, counselling within oncology , palliative care and renal and diabetic services. Latterly she worked for several years with Hampshire Eating Disorder service and local community mental health teams before setting up the group practice at Wings. Besides seeing clients at Wings she offers training, consultancy and clinical supervision to other psychological therapists and services.

  • Carolyn


    Carolyn is an experienced and BACP accredited counsellor with experience in schools, chartities and private practice. Her counselling experience with adults in private practice and the voluntary sector includes working with clients who come with a wide variety of issues such as depression and anxiety, eating disorders, anxiety disorders, abuse and post natal depression.

  • Priya


    Priya is a registered dietitian with a wealth of experience in both the NHS and an extensive freelance portfolio. Within the NHS she has worked in diabetes, stroke, obesity and on hosptial wards, then moved into mental health specialsiing in learning disabilities. She has worked in the field of eating disorders for over 5 years.
    Priya regularly features in magazine and newspaper articles, supports companies with nutritional support and is known for her friendly, down to earth approach.

  • Heather


    Heather qualified as a Person Centred Counsellor in 2004 and since then has undergone continual additional training, becoming qualified as an Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) Practitioner, Cognitive Hypnotherapist and Master Practitioner in Eating Disorders & Obesity.

  • Sally


    Sally is an accredited Cognitive Analytical Therapy Practitioner. She has extensive experience working with a wide range of mental/emotional issues and ages, having also worked for 15 years, as a professional within the NHS Mental Health Services.

    Sally is very much person-centred and supportive in my approach and draws upon a range of interventions and skills within the framework of CAT to provide a full and holistic therapy experience.

  • Sue


    Sue has worked as both a general and a mental health nurse since 1978, and has considerable experience in all areas of mental health. In addition to working as a mental health nurse, she currently works in the NHS, as well as in private practice, as a Cognitive Analytic Therapist. She likes to work with people in a holistic, supportive and collaborative way, and to work with people beyond diagnosis.

  • Barbara


    Barbara is a hypnotherapist, registered with the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC) and the Complementary Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) and is an associate member of the Hampshire School of Hypnotherapy.
    She specialises in helping clients overcome anxiety, phobias and unwanted habits/behaviours.

  • Lorraine


    Lorraine is a Cognitive Analytic Therapist offering brief and longer term therapy for people wanting to make change to their lives with common and complex psychological problems. She has worked with individuals to help resolve a range of concerns including depression, anxiety, trauma, work related issues, eating, relationship and attachment difficulties. She has worked in the NHS for 10 years based in adult mental health services and has also worked previously with adolescents and eating disorders.

  • Dr Monica Alferez Calvo

    Dr. Monica Alferez Calvo

    Dr. Alferez Calvo graduated in General Medicine from the UAB (Autonomous University, Barcelona) and became a specialist in Psychiatry in the UK (MRCPsych) with the Royal College of Psychiatry.

    Her practice in general adult and liaison psychiatry confirmed that medicine was only part of what people found beneficial from their contact with psychiatrists and so her interest in the therapeutic relationship and psychological therapies grew.

    She went on to obtain a diploma in Cognitive Therapy for severe mental health problems from the University of Southampton and later completed Cognitive Analytical Therapy practitioner training with ACAT in Hampshire. She has also undertaken DBT awareness training with Southern Health NHS Trust and has completed foundational training in Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy with the University of Oxford Mindfulness Centre.

    In her role within the National Health Service (NHS), she work as a Consultant Psychiatrist within an Adult Mental Health Team in Romsey.

    Certified Autism Assessor with BeginingwithA, UK

    Beth specialises in working with toddlers to adults for whom an autism assessment is deemed useful. She will provide further guidance and support post assessment.
    As a fully qualified counsellor, Beth offers counselling for teenagers and adults for Autism related issues such as anger management , anxiety and depression.
